Skip It is an independent family-run skip hire business in Wiltshire run by partners David Withey and Laura Waters.
We’re passionate about the planet, and are proud to be a company that is making a difference by recycling as much of the waste we remove from our clients’ properties as possible.
Over the years we’ve removed and recycled hundreds of tons of unwanted household and commercial waste in skips from properties in and around the town of Westbury, where we are based, and nearby towns such as Trowbridge, Warminster and Melksham.
We operate a licensed Waste Transfer Station in our base at Westbury where full skips are emptied after collection and all the materials hand sorted for recycling.
As waste management operators we believe we have a responsibility to ensure we recycle and reuse as much of the waste material we collect in our skips as possible.
We hire out a range of skips in various sizes, to suit most requirements, from mini two-yard skips right through to industrial sized roll on/roll off skips, all delivered and collected to meet our client’s requirements. All waste is taken to our Waste Transfer Station in Westbury, Wiltshire, where we recycle as much as possible – usually around 95% of what we collect.
We are fully legal, licensed and insured as waste collectors, and our clients can have every confidence in our commitment to environmentally friendly waste removal and disposal. This is borne out by the amount of repeat and contractual skip hire business we have gleaned from commercial and industrial clients, as well as householders.
Our versatile range of skips for hire are ideal for all sorts of purposes, from house or garage clearances and DIY projects to builders’ rubble and trade waste.
